Ethics Empire (Alpha)

Where ethics and profits collide, cut the corners, face the consequences.

Simple business managing simulator where you can purchase 3 types of properties including business, perk, and investment. Each property has unique stats and each type of property does a different task. Business properties give passive income and has a corner cut option to increase profits while also increasing lawsuit risk. Perk properties each have a unique perk with it, for example the law firm decreases your lawsuit risk allowing you to corner cut with less risk. Investment properties do not generate passive income but instead they exponentially gain sell value, their starting sell value is 70% of purchase value and the maximum sell value they can reach is 15x the original sell value, for example a $5,000 investment property has a maximum sell value of $52,500. Another mechanic in the game are Ethical Points which you need to keep regulated because the lower ethical points you have the less money you earn, you start with 1,000 ethical points but lawsuits can lose you hundreds of them and corner-cutting can lose you smaller amounts that  build up over time.

Newest Update: Savior Update [0.3]

Minimal: Added save files, added autosave for save files, added the risk meter, added more detail stats to the "My Empire" menu, added 2 new properties

Detailed: Added 5 save files with 4 of them being default values with 1 modified save file starting with 10k ethical points and millions of dollars for those who wish to mess with higher values immediately. The save files work on a 30 second autosave so no need to worry about manually saving the game. Also added the risk meter and a detailed stats menu when clicking the "My Empire" button on the bottom left of the screen. Added 2 new properties, the Two Story House which is an investment property and the Animal Shelter which is a perk property that slowly regenerates ethical points.

Planned Updates (Comment which ones are needed soonest!):

Lawsuits Update, adding differences to lawsuits for example minor lawsuits being less of an issue than major lawsuits and the ability to either settle or fight lawsuits with varying chances of winning the lawsuit.

Graphical Overhaul, remaking certain assets to look better, will probably come along side more properties.

All the Perks Update, adding more perks and different properties with all the different types of perks.

More the Merrier Update, literally only adding more properties to the game but it will add as many properties as possible to add more to the game.
